While the bar may seem appealing from the exterior , what I found behind its walls was shocking and unacceptable on multiple levels .
The State of the Venue : Squalid and Disregarded
From the moment I crossed the threshold, it was immediately obvious that cleanliness was not a priority at this venue. The surfaces were tacky , and a foul smell of decaying beverages and neglected washrooms permeated the entire pub. Reeking of a mixture of ammonia , a rotting odor and a sickly smell. His presence at the bar often seemed closer to that of a sweating predator than a friendly owner .

Pete’s wife, the co-owner, is a co-proprietor and frequently seen handling business . Instead of taking action to curb the damage done by her husband’s actions, she looks like she supports his behavior.
